Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser

I've been trying out Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser* ($25 CAD/150 mL) for a month now, ever since it was "prescribed" to me in my skincare consultation! This cleanser is meant for those with normal to oily skin types, and it's incredibly gentle formula will work for those with sensitive skin as well.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser

"This oil-free, quick-lathering cleansing foam thoroughly removes impurities and visibly reduces excess oil on skin’s surface, while leaving skin looking more balanced. With Imperata Cylindrica Root and Lemon Fruit Extracts, our non-stripping, sulphate-free formula leaves skin clean and refreshed without over-drying. Gentle enough for sensitive skin types. Paraben-Free. Silicone-Free. Fragrance-Free. Oil-Free." - Kiehl's

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Cleanser comes packaged in a simple blue plastic tube with a flip-open lid. This cleanser has a very light, fresh scent to it. I take a pea sized amount of this cleanser and massage it into damp skin. This formula lathers really well, so you get a nice frothy texture. I've also been using this cleanser on my Clarisonic every morning, and I absolutely love that combination! This formula gives a nice, gentle cleanse. This cleanser does remove face makeup (foundation, blush, etc.), but I like to use a separate makeup remover for my eyes. The only negative thing that I have to say about this cleanser is that it can sometimes leave my skin with that squeaky clean feeling. I know that some people love that, but I'm just not a fan. My skin doesn't feel dry or tight, but it does have that classic squeaky clean feel.

If you have normal to oily skin, this is a great basic cleanser to add to your skincare routine. This cleanser has been keeping my skin balanced and in check, and it's even gentle enough for those with sensitive skin. Have you tried any products from Kiehl's Oil-Free range? What cleanser are you currently using?
