While I love the purple shift and light blue glitter, I do wish that this polish was a bit more pigmented. I'm hoping it's not a pain to remove! In the meantime, wish me luck with packing, moving, and unpacking. Hopefully my nails survive the move!

Deborah Lippmann's Xanadu
Happy Friday friends! Dylan and I are moving this week (still staying in Ottawa, just moving into a different apartment), and I'm also working a ton, so this post is going to be short and sweet. I've been wearing Deborah Lippmann's Xanadu* ($22 @ Murale) from the Fantastical Holiday 2014 Collection, and it's unlike any other glitter in my collection!
Deborah Lippmann's polish bottles are so classy, I just love them! These bottles would definitely look great if you stored them on your vanity. The brushes on Deborah Lippmann's polishes are a bit thin, so you have to use a few more strokes per nail compared to a wider brush (think OPI's Pro-Wide brush), but you get a cleaner finish. Xanadu is a glittery blue polish with a sheer formula. I used three coats, and as you can see in the pictures, there's still a bit of sheerness to this colour. I definitely think that this polish is meant to be worn by itself, not as a topper, but you could throw one coat over another creme polish if you wanted to. There's almost a slight purple shift to this colour, which really comes to life in sunlight.

That is such a gorgeous colour! I have the same complaint about pigmentation for some of the other Deborah Lippmann polishes, I usually put a coat of polish of a similar tone so I don't end up with 4 layers of glitter polishes, since that will just make me angry when I have to take them off!
