Revlon's PhotoReady Eye Art* ($11.49 CAD) are new double ended cream shadows/liquid liners. I love the concept behind this line - coordinating cream shadows and glittery liners that you can also use to add a dash of colour/glitter to the ends of your lashes!
Each product is housed in plastic packaging, and is very similar to Revlon's nail art packaging! The end with the cream shadow has a flattened doe foot applicator. The end with the glitter has a thick brush applicator. I've been trying out three shades - Topaz Twinkle, Fuchsia Flash, and Cobalt Crystal.
Topaz Twinkle has a rose gold cream shadow and a holographic gold glitter. Fuchsia Flash has a blush pink cream shadow and a magenta glitter. Cobalt Crystal has a metallic sky blue cream shadow with a royal blue and silver glitter. Each cream shadow has a fairly thick consistency, and can feel a bit wet on your eye lids. This formula also takes a few minutes to fully set and dry, so I would recommend using thin layers, and topping it off with a matching powder shadow. The glitters are not as opaque as I was expecting them to be. I personally wouldn't use these as liners on their own, but I do think that they're fun to layer over your standard black or brown liner. The cream shadow of Fuchsia Flash is my favourite - you know that I can't say no to a blush pink!
The packaging of Revlon's PhotoReady Eye Art line is pretty clever, but I think that the cream shadows are a bit too think, and the glitters aren't pigmented enough for my liking. Have you tried this new line from Revlon yet? They are only around for a limited time, so if they sound like something you'd like then you better pick them up ASAP!
