Today I'm sharing with you my first manicure of 2015 - ImPress' Press-On Manicure in Glitz & Glamour*. I haven't worn any of these press on nails in quite a while, but this glittery design was way too cute to pass up!
I found that the kit contains a wide variety of nail sizes, and I was able to find ones to fit all of my nails. The only nail I had a hard time finding one for was my pinkie. I settled on one that was a little bit too big, because the smaller one was way too small. To apply, you simply peel off the sticker from the bottoms of the nails, and apply to your nail. The side with the tab is to be applied to the cuticle. Application from start to finish only took me about five minutes, which I thought was amazing! When I use nail stickers, it takes me at least a half hour, since you need to file them down.
These tend to last on my nails for about 8 days, which is amazing. And yes, I do still wash dishes, clean, wash my hair, etc. These nails let you do anything that you normally would, and I haven't had a nail fall off. I think that these are perfect for anyone who doesn't have a lot of time to do their nails, or for special occasions. Glitz & Glamour has a deep maroon base and a silver glitter top half. There's also gold, red, and blue glitter pieces scattered among the silver. ImPress also came out with a similar One Shine Day, which has a blush pink base and silver glitter.
The kit contains 24 nails in 12 sizes. Firstly, remove any polish that you are wearing, as you want to apply these to clean nails. The kit includes a nail prep pad, which you just rub over every nail. Then, choose a nail size to best suit each of your 10 nails. The package suggests going with a size smaller than your nail, rather that one that's too large.
Have you tried any designs from ImPress before? I'm absolutely loving Glitz & Glamour, it's the perfect way to start off the new year! What's currently on your nails? :)
