This two step polish system comes interestingly packaged - two mini bottles of polish are joined together by a black tube. You get one bottle of polish and one bottle of a high shine tinted top coat. Even though the bottles are mini, you still get a full size brush (pictured below), which I highly appreciate. Always A Lady is a vampy deep eggplant shade, and the top coat has a pink tint to it. The polish is highly pigmented, and I was almost able to get away with one coat - but I added a second coat for safe measure. The top coat adds a gorgeous shine, without changing the colour very much.
I was impressed by how quickly this polish dried - my nails were almost fully dry in 10 minutes! I've been wearing this polish for almost a week now, and I only got a tiny chip on my pointer finger on my left hand. Polish normally chips on my nails pretty quickly, so I'm really loving this long-wearing formula! Always A Lady is a great Winter-appropriate shade, and I love that it's very dark & vampy without looking black.
If you don't like having to change your polish every few days, then I think that you'd really love L'Oréal's new Infallible 2-Step Nail Colour line. Always A Lady is a gorgeous vampy eggplant, but there are also beautiful nudes, a vibrant brights in this line - something for everyone!
Have you tried out this new line of long-wear, high shine polishes yet?
