Urban Decay has recently added a new palette to their popular Naked line. The new Naked On the Run Palette* ($64 CAD) is a limited edition product, so you better get your hands on it while you still can! This palette contains 6 eye shadows, a bronzer, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and a lipgloss - everything you need to polish off your look!
I absolutely love the rose gold packaging of Urban Decay's Naked On the Run Palette, it's kind of bulky but I still really like it. The top of the box has a slightly tribal vibe to it, and there's a large mirror inside. Urban Decay included a mini liner & mascara, and a full size Naked Lipgloss inside of the palette, which adds to the bulkiness.
The formulation of all of the powder products in this palette have an incredibly creamy formula, and great pigmentation. There are five smaller eye shadows, and one larger shadow, that I've also been using as a highlighter. Dive is a metallic rose with golden micro-shimmer. Fix is a soft matte taupe. Resist is a medium metallic taupe with heavy shimmer. Dare is a medium matte brown. Stun is a metallic bronze with light gold micro-shimmer. 5050 is a cool bisque satin.
The bronzer in this palette is slightly too orange for my skin tone, but I think that it would work for someone with a tan or slightly deeper tone. The formula is very creamy and easy to blend, but the colour unfortunately just doesn't work for me. The blush is a beautiful shimmery bright pink shade, that I think will look great all year round. This blush is fairly pigmented, so use a light hand or else you might end up with clown cheeks.
Urban Decay included a mini of one of their popular 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils, in the shade Stag, a deep brown satin. This liner glides on smoothly, and stays put all day long. This palette also contains a travel size of Perversion Mascara. This mascara has a large, fluffy brush, but I still find that this formula gives my lashes a fairly natural look. I don't get a ton of volume or length from this formula.
Lastly, UD included a full size tube of their Naked Lipgloss, in the shade Sesso, a rose gold with pink shimmer. This formula is smooth, creamy, not sticky at all, and has a slightly minty scent to it. I get about 4-5 hours of wear out of this formula before I need to reapply.
All together, this palette will help you create the perfect natural look. My favourites from this palette are the lipgloss, blush, and Dive, Resist, & Stun. The bronzer is a bit too orange for my skin tone, but that was the only disappointment in this palette. Like I said before, UD's Naked On the Run Palette is limited edition, and I think that any UD fan will love adding this palette to their collection.
