Dior Rouge Dior Brillant in Victoire, Darling, & Bonheur

I love a good lipgloss, but nobody likes a super sticky gloss formula. Dior has swooped in to save the day with their new Rouge Dior Brillant formula, and I've been trying out the shades Victoire*, Darling*, & Bonheur* ($39 CAD each). Not only is this packaging to die for, but the formula is pretty incredible too!

This glossy formula from Dior is incredibly creamy - it actually feels like I'm wearing a lip balm, and not a gloss! This formula is thick, creamy, and super hydrating, and not sticky at all. I get about 5 hours of wear out of this gloss, but you do have to reapply after eating anything heavy. These glosses have a fairly heavy floral fragrance to them, but the scent fades quickly after application.

Dior Rouge Dior Brillant Wand

"Dior has created the Couture lip balm gloss with lipcare oil, a Rouge Dior that is simply Brilliant.

Rouge Dior Brillant subtly shapes and brightens lips with precision thanks to a pen-like applicator that dispenses the "perfect dose". Formulated like a liquid balm, its formula boasts an exclusive Dior mix of 3 lipcare oils and a complex that teams vitamin E with an active ingredient known for reactivating collagen synthesis. It comes in a range of timeless couture shades." - Dior

Dior Rouge Dior Brillant in Bonheur

468 Bonheur is a light pale pink with golden shimmer and a sheer formula. This is such an easy colour to wear, it's something that I could see myself keeping in my bag or at my desk at work. Pale pinks like Bonheur can sometimes be tricky to pull off, but I love that this shade isn't too pale or white-based.

Dior Rouge Dior Brillant in Darling

775 Darling is a bright magenta colour with a fair amount of pigmentation. There's a healthy dose of shimmer in this colour. I found this colour a bit tricky to apply evenly, but with a little bit of work you can get it to work.

Dior Rouge Dior Brillant in Victoire

808 Victoire is a pale orange colour with golden shimmer. This colour screams Spring and Summer to me, and I know that I'll be reaching for it at ton in the warmer months. This is a shade that I think would look flattering on almost any skintone, and it's sheer enough for everyday wear.

Dior, you've done it! You've managed to create a beautiful gloss formula without the stickiness that most glosses have. There are many gorgeous shades in this range - next on my wishlist are Hollywood and Swan.

What's your go-to lip gloss formula?
