Nivea In-Shower Body Milk

I'm a huge fan of Lush's Ro's Argan Body Conditioner, but it is very pricey, so of course I was excited to hear about a drugstore alternative! Nivea's In-Shower Body Milk* ($7.99 CAD/400 mL) is a new product that you apply all over your body in the shower after cleansing, then rinse off, and voila! Your skin is instantly hydrated, and you don't need to worry about using a body lotion after showering!

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk

"It's a quick and easy way to add moisturizing into the daily skin care routine. After cleansing withshower gel or soap as usual, apply NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion to wet skin while still under theshower and rinse off. The same way you would shampoo and condition your hair, now it's thesame simple cleansing and moisturizing routine for your skin! Dry off and get dressed right afterstepping out of the shower - no more waiting for lotion to absorb before getting ready. With NIVEA In-Shower Body Lotion, skin stays effectively hydrated and smooth for over 24 hours." - Nivea

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk

There are three new formulas in this range, and I've been using the Body Milk in the navy blue bottle. This formula contains almond milk, which will leave your skin feeling silky smooth. This body milk has a thick, creamy formula, and a heavy scent that you'll instantly recognize if you use any other Nivea products. You can use this body milk every time you shower, and I use it as the last step in my shower routine. Simply apply the lotion all over your body, and rinse off. You'll also want to make sure that you rinse off your shower floor, because this product can leave a slick residue behind. However, my skin isn't left feeling slick or greasy at all - just smooth, hydrated, and lightly scented. I love being able to skip the body butter, especially when I'm in a rush or just feeling lazy.

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk

Have you spotted any of Nivea's three new In-Shower Body Lotions in stores yet? I'd say that they're definitely worth a try, and I'm definitely wanting to test out the other 2 formulas! I think that these are a great drugstore alternative to Lush's Body Conditioners - they aren't identical, but it's a great option for those of us on a budget!

  1. A lazy girl's dream! I'll make sure to get my hands on that one, because one of the things I hate about body moisturizers is how sticky and greasy they leave you!

  3. I love the Nivea in-shower lotion! I love the smell of Ro's Argan better, but I find this to be far more hydrating.
