The Body Shop Smoky Poppy Body Massage Oil & Poppy Seed Body Scrub

I always get so excited when The Body Shop releases a new scent! Their newest release is Smoky Poppy, and I've been trying out two product from this new range: the Body Massage Oil* & Poppy Seed Body Scrub*. I had no idea what to expect from this new scent, but I was expecting something deep, strong, and floral. Read on to see if I was right!

The Body Shop Smoky Poppy Collection

First off, I really love this packaging! The red and black make the line look super sultry, and I think that this scent is great for both ladies and gents. While I was expecting this Smoky Poppy scent to be fairly strong, I was surprised to find that it's actually somewhat subtle. This scent is a beautiful combination of floral, musky, and sultry notes. The closest thing that I have to compare this scent to is freshly baked gingerbread, but with a floral twist, in the best way possible.

The Smoky Poppy Body Massage Oil comes packaged in a sleek black and red bottle. This oil is clear in colour, and has that typical thin oil consistency. You can either use this oil to aid in massage, or as a regular body oil. This formula is super hydrating, and I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy.

The Poppy Seed Body Scrub has a thick consistency, with just the right amount of oils to help hydrate your skin while also providing excellent exfoliation. This formula is made with real poppy seeds, which work so slough away dead skin cells.
