"Give eyes some sugar with our colorful palette of nine deliciously enticing, shimmer and glitter shadows in vanilla, chocolate and candy inspired hues that allow limitless, irresistibly sweet looks for eyes that sparkle and pop!" - Too Faced
Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette comes packaged in a cute little tin that has a magnetic closure. I personally love that Too Faced didn't include any brushes in this palette, since that just tends to bulk up the packaging. This palette has three large shimmery highlight shadows, and six smaller colourful shadows. I normally gravitate towards a more neutral eye look, but I've been having a lot of fun playing around with these brighter hues. For the look below, I used Sugared Violet all over the lid, and Blackberry in the crease. I'm loving this look, which can easily be worn for a more dramatic day look, and transitions well into the night. These shadows have great pigmentation, and are easy to blend out. I get a full day of wear from these shadows, even longer when paired with a cream shadow base or a primer.
The only shade in this palette that I haven't been able to work for my skin tone has been the orange - Macaron. I've tried combining Macaron with Malted Milk Ball, but I just can't get the orange to look good on my pale skin. The bright mint, Blue Raspberry, can also be a bit tricky to work with, but I think that it'd be fun to wear as an eye liner for a night out.
Are you a fan or bright or neutral eye shadows? I think that Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette would be a great way to get introduced to bright shadows, since the shades aren't too over the top!
Are you celebrating Macaron Day today? :)
