Happy hump day friends! Today I have a stunning beauty product to share with you - Anna Sui's Rose Cheek Color #303 Sweet Rose* ($36 CAD/0.21 oz). The packaging of these Rose Cheek Colors is simply to die for, imagine jewelry and beauty coming together in the best way possible! I've been using this highlighting blush consistently for over a month now, so it's about time I shared it with you all!
"Use a single color or create your own original favorite color by mixing the shades. Moist Powder Base enhances clear color development and a long-lasting pearly sheen. A blend of highly transparent oil-mix and Clear Sliding Powder helps color to retain a dewy, glossy finish." - Anna Sui
Anna Sui's Rose Cheek Color come packaged in gorgeous jewel-like compacts, that's actually inspired Anna’s love of antique bracelets and crystal! Inside, you'll find 6 roses of varying pink and purple tones, which blend together to create a light pink blush colour. I absolutely love the inclusion of the center lilac blush tone, which you really don't see too often in blushes! You can technically use the blush shades individually if you really wanted to, but I find it much easier to blend all of the shades together. As with all of Anna Sui's products, this blush also has a nice rose scent to it. I think that this makes this blush that much more luxurious and pampering!
#303 Sweet Rose is a very light, natural pink blush shade, and I think it's borderline impossible to be too heavy handed with this blush. It's a great option for anyone wanting a natural, light makeup look, or just a light flush of colour. There's a beautiful sheen to this blush, and you'll definitely be able to skip the highlighter when using this blush. I get a full 8-10 hours of wear from this blush, which I think is very impressive for a powder blush!
If the packaging alone doesn't sell you on this blush, I think that the long-wearing formula and beautiful pink shade will help seal the deal! Have you tried any of Anna Sui's Rose Cheek Colors? This is my third one, and I really hope that it won't be my last!
