Clinique Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palette in Defining Roses

Clinique was one of the first high end makeup brands that I ever used, since it was my mom's go-to beauty brand. So I always get excited about the brands new releases, since there's something so nostalgic about Clinique for me. Clinique's Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palette in Defining Roses* ($34 CAD) instantly intrigued me, as you all know how much I love a good blush!

"Versatile cheek sculpting compact with natural-looking shades that blend and build beautifully. Use each separately to colour, contour, highlight. Or swirl them together for a quick easy glow. Use mid-toned shade as a blush, deep-toned shade to contour, lightest shade to highlight. For a quick, easy glow swirl brush over entire palette and dust over apples of cheeks. Long-wearing, oil-free." - Clinique

This new blush from Clinique is available in a few different shades, and I've been trying out Defining Roses. This blush combines three tones - shimmery light pink, mauve, and berry. Mixed together, you're left with a beautiful shimmering warm toned pink. At first I was skeptical, since this is called a contouring blush, but I was surprised to find that it really does help to define my cheeks! You can also wear the three shades separately as a contour, blush, and highlighter, but I personally find that the individual pans are a bit too small to use them separately.

This blush proves that Clinique isn't just your mothers makeup brand, they truly understand new makeup trends and demands! This contouring blush is so easy to wear, and I think that Defining Roses would look great on a wide variety of skin tones. I also have my eyes on Defining Sugars, as the pastels look really intriguing! Have you tried any of these new blushes from Clinique yet?
