"This transparent, mattifying fluid provides broad spectrum protection for all skin types (even very sensitive) with 100% physical filters, transparent titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (Z-Cote®*). Enhanced with artemia salina, a plankton extract, this lightweight sunscreen increases skin defenses and resistance to UV and heat stress. The weightless fluid spreads evenly and dries quickly, leaving no residue." - SkinCeuticals
SkinCeuticals' Sheer Physical Defense SPF 50 comes packaged in a simple grey bottle that's small enough to throw in any beach bag. I've only been using this sunscreen on my face since the bottle is on the smaller side, but if you're in a pinch then you could definitely use this all over your body. While wearing this sunscreen, I haven't experienced any sunburns or tanning, so it must be working, right?! The formula of this sunscreen is really thin, but the formula is still quite creamy and hydrating. I love that this cream absorbs into my skin really quickly, and it doesn't leave that sticky feeling that a lot of sunscreens tend to have. This lotion does have a bit of that typical sunscreen scent to it, which I actually kind of like!
Overall, I think that SkinCeuticals' Sheer Physical Defense SPF 50 is a great option, not only in the Summer, but all year round. The formula is thin and easy to apply, and I love that it doesn't leave a sticky or greasy feeling!
