These new blushes come package in cute little mirrored compacts that have magnetic closures. There is a "UD" cutout on the tops of the lids, which lets you see a peek of the colour of the blush inside. There's also a colour-coded label on the back of each compact, which I think is so smart!
Bang is a really showstopper. This bright orange-red is bold, but you can also sheer it out quite a bit if you wanted to. This formula is very smooth and creamy, and easy to apply.
My favourite from the bunch is Bittersweet - a bold purple. It's quite rare to see a purple blush shade like this one, but of course you can count of UD to come out with unique and bold shades like this one. I was surprised to find out how wearable this purple is - once it's on the cheeks it turns into more of a berry tone.
Fetish is a medium pink-nude shade that can look slightly boring in the pan, but it's a great everyday neutral. I feel like this is a great blush option for those days when you just don't know what to wear. The formula is creamy and easy to blend out.
And finally we have Obsessed, a bright barbie pink! This blush actually applies very sheer on my cheeks, and it's quite wearable. I think that this blush will work best on lighter skin tones, as I'm not sure that it is bold enough to show up on deeper skin tones.
I've come to expect greatness from Urban Decay, and their new Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blushes are no exception! I do get about 8 hours of wear from this formula, although the colour does start to fade pretty quickly after that 8 hour mark. The formula of all four shades that I've tried has been smooth, creamy, and easy to blend out - what more could you ask for from a powder blush!?
Like I said, there are 10 shades in this new line, and I already have my eyes on Rapture and Score. What shade is your favourite from the four that I shared? Have you picked up any of these new blushes to try for yourself yet?
