I recently used up a tub of The Body Shop's Chocomania Body Butter, so I was looking for a new body lotion to try out! I decided on Vaseline's Intensive Care Deep Repair Repairing Serum*, which is formulated for dry, cracked skin. Now, my skin isn't super dry, but I do generally prefer to use more hydrating products anyways.
"While lotions and moisturizers relieve dryness, the results of some are often superficial and may not address underlying problems. Vaseline Intensive Care Repairing Serums combine the power of three effective, highly concentrated ingredients to moisturize and heal dry skin.
- The PPAR Activators penetrate the surface skin to promote the formation of skin’s natural lipids and proteins to support and accelerate skin’s natural renewal cycle
- Elastomers provide a premium sensory experience with ingredients that deliver a luxurious silky, smooth feel
- Micro-droplets of Vaseline® Jelly form a protective layer to prevent moisture loss" - Vaseline
Vaseline's Intensive Care Deep Repair Repairing Serum comes packaged in a tall yellow squeezy tube. First of all, this lotion has an incredible scent, with notes of rich amber and jasmine. I honestly can't stop smelling my skin whenever I use this lotion. This formula has a thick formula, but I was surprised by how quickly it absorbed into my skin! My skin is left feeling smooth, plump, hydrated, and beautifully scented. If you have really dry skin, you'll want to try this out. It's not your typical thick, greasy formula that some lotions for dry skin tend to have.
If you have dry skin but don't want to be weighed down by heavy, greasy lotions, then you need to try out Vaseline's Intensive Care Deep Repair Repairing Serum! There are two other formulations in this Intensive Care Repairing Serum line up, which I'm now also wanting to try out! What are your favourite intensive body lotions?
