Saje Natural Wellness Unwind Calming Bath Salt Soak

I've been going non-stop this past week - first an impromptu trip to NYC and then a trip up to the cottage. When I got home last night I had tired legs from running around New York, and I was also covered in mosquito bites from the cottage. When I got home, I knew that I wanted to treat myself to a hot bath, and I'm so happy hat I decided to use Saje Wellness' Unwind Calming Bath Salt Soak* ($5.95/120g)!

"A perfect treat for the end of the day, Unwind Bath Salts create a warm envelope of relaxation and bliss. Nourishing essential oils of orange, bergamot, lavender, geranium, and cinnamon work together to restore balance to the nervous system, uplift emotions, and ease stress, tension, and irritability. Unwind and melt into the calming aroma as you soak in the healing blend of skin softening Epsom salts and purifying sea salts." - Saje

This bath salt comes in either a small 120g pouch or a larger 620g jar for $19.95. The packaging says to add 3-5 tablespoons to your bath water, but the website says to use only 2 tablespoons. I just poured the salts into the bath and eyeballed the amount. Notes of orange, bergamot, lavender, geranium, cinnamon blend together to create a very relaxing and calming scent. Since these are bath salts, you won't be getting any bubbles in your bath, which was fine by me. The Epsom salts are meant to be great for sore muscles, and after an hour in the hot tub I definitely felt relaxed and rejuvenated!

I'll be able to get a few baths out of this small packet of bath salts - I'm already looking forward to my next bath! I normally don't take too many hot baths in the Summer months, but that might need to change this year! I'm new to the world of Epsom salts, but these salts from Saje have definitely made me a believer.

Have you tried Epsom salts before? What are your favourite bath products?

  2. I really like Dr. Teal's epsom salts. The eucalyptus is great for sore muscles and congestion. The lavender is relaxing before bed. The price is great. It comes in 3 lb bags and is $5US.
