Kat Von D Ink Liners in Nietzsche, Bosch & Dali

As you all know, I'm a huge liquid liner fan. I wear black liquid liner on a daily basis, but coloured liners are fun to play around with too! I've been trying out three shades of Kat Von D's Ink Liners - Nietzsche*, Bosch* & Dali* ($23 CAD each), and I think that they're something that you definitely need to pay attention to!

"Flaunt a killer line every time with Ink Liner. The innovative, no-fray marker tip holds the maximum level of formula, giving you bold lines with instant color lay-down and stunning intensity. Remarkably easy to use, the felt tip applicator provides total control for effortless eye lining. Rock your look around the clock with this waterproof formula that delivers a fade and run-resistant finish for up to 24 hours of wear. For effortless drama, put it in ink." - Sephora

Kat Von D's Ink Liners come packaged in colour coordinated plastic tubes with a felt tip applicator. This applicator is very thin, which allows you to create a precise line - but you can also easily build up the colour to a more intense look. All three of the shades that I tried have crazy pigmentation - one swipe and you're good to go! After a few seconds the colour sets for good - no smudging, flaking, or fading for the entire day! The brand boasts up to 24 hours of wear, but I haven't put it to that test just yet.

Nietzsche is a gorgeous periwinkle blue! Normally these types of bright shades require a few swipes for ideal pigmentation, but this one is full-on colour in just one swipe! Bosch is a deep olive, again with excellent pigmentation. I think that this liner would pair perfectly with an otherwise neutral shadow look! Dali is beautiful teal colour that will definitely bring a pop of colour to any eye look.

I'm super impressed with these Ink Liners from Kat Von D! I'm already a huge fan of her Tattoo Liners, so it was really nice to see that the Ink Liners are also top notch quality! I'm really curious about the black shade, Trooper, as I could see that becoming my new every day liquid liner!

  1. Nietzsche though! How beautiful is that colour! I wish I could manage a perfect winged eyeliner but alas! My hands are so shaky!

  2. These look lovely, but I prefer brush liners. My experience shows that these felt-tip ones dry out too soon, so I tend to keep away from them.

    1. Ya I've had a few of the Stila liners dry out on me pretty quickly, I'm hoping I get a bit more time with these!

  3. These were good but not amazing, I expereienced a lot of clumpiness when I try to go with a few more coats to make things more opaque (with the lighter shades)

    1. I find that I only need a single coat because they're so pigmented!
