Nair Cire Divine Argan Oil Wax

Happy Monday friends! This weekend I celebrated both my bachelorette and bridal shower, and I had an absolutely amazing time with the people that I love most. If you wanted to hear more about these festivities, let me know in a comment below and I can write a Wedding Wednesday post all about it!

As for today's post, I'm talking about wax. I normally shave my legs, but I'm always curious about waxing. Nair's Cire Divine Argan Oil with Pain Reducer* has been my latest foray into the world of waxing, and I'm here to tell you all about it!

Nair Cire Divine Argan Oil with Pain Reducer

This wax comes packaged in an orange plastic tub with a wooden mixing stick. You need to heat up the wax in the microwave, and then you're good to go! Using the wooden stick, apply a thin layer of wax to your skin - this wax can be used on the legs, arms, bikini area, and underarms. I stuck with my legs, but you can definitely be a bit more adventurous! Remember to leave a bit of a thicker end to your wax strip, so that when the wax dries you'll have a tab to hold on to. Now's the time to take a deep breathe, and quickly pull back the wax strip in a single motion.

I found it a bit difficult to create a tab at the end of each strip, but this might just be because I'm a total newbie when it comes to waxing. However, I did find that this wax didn't pick up every single hair. I was left with a somewhat patchy effect at the end of my waxing session. Even though Nair has done wonders to greatly reduce the pain associated with waxing, there still is some pain involved in this process. I did find myself needing to shave the remaining hairs, as I wasn't willing to wax over the same spot twice. For me, if I'm going to take the additional time to wax my legs, I want the wax to remove every last hair, and this formula from Nair just didn't do that for me.

For a more experienced waxer, Nair's Cire Divine Argan Oil Wax might work a bit better than it did for me. I really do want to master waxing though, since shaving daily can be a bit of a hassle! If you have any waxing tips I'd gladly take them!
