One of my all-time favourite beauty products are YSL's Glossy Stains, but now I'm also loving their new
Vernis À Lèvres Pop Water Glossy Stains! Today I have the shade
203 Eau De Corail* to share with you, which is a pretty peachy pink with the high-shine of a gloss and the lasting power of a stain.
"Dive into the newest wave of lip color with these long-lasting color and shine Glossy Stains. Each is now boosted by a 10-hour hydration effect for a refreshing splash of moisture along with the vibrant burst of sheer color. The formula glides onto the lips thanks to its high-performance applicator with an extra flat shape and fine tip for perfect dosage and application. This life-proof gloss is available just in time for summer." -

YSL sure know how to do luxurious packaging - and at $38 CAD a pop, I expect nothing less. The tube is black, with one side having a see through section, making finding the right colour super easy. The gold cap is pretty to look at, but to be honest it does have a cheap plasticy feel to it. The slanted doe foot applicator really hugs my lips, making application a breeze!
Shade 203 Eau De Corail is a light peachy pink with a fairly sheer formula. I used two layers, which left me with a nice wash of colour, but it's definitely not opaque. I absolutely love the glossy finish from this formula, and it's super hydrating! The original line is also quite moisturizing, but these are even more so. I get about 6-7 hours of colour from this formula - not the advertised 10, but I still think that 6-7 hours is impressive. Once this colour sets, it doesn't transfer very easily, so you can feel free to eat, drink, kiss, etc., without having to immediately reapply.
Have you tried any of YSL's new Vernis À Lèvres Pop Water Glossy Stains? If so, I'd love to hear how you like them, and which shades you've tried out! :)
