August & September 2015 Empties

So I know it's been a really long time since I shared my last batch of empties (I'm sorry!), but today I'm finally back with my most recent batch of trash! I've been finishing off a bunch of hair care and body care products lately, but there's a few makeup bits thrown into the mix as well.

I'll start off with all of the products that I used up while in Barcelona for my honeymoon!

September 2015 Empties

MAKE UP FOR EVER's Graphic Liner* - I really didn't like this at first, but I got a replacement and the second tube was much better! This liner made it really easy to create a gorgeous wing, and the end result didn't smudge or budge at all.

Ombrelle's Ultra Light Advanced SPF 50+ Weightless Body Lotion* - This formula felt just like a body lotion, it's one of the best sunscreens I've ever used!

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk* - I've had a few of these samples that I've been bringing with me every time I travel. This in-shower moisturizer packs some serious hydration, but the only downfall is that it does leave your shower floor pretty slippery, so be careful!

Pureology's Curl Extend* - This bottle actually has two separate chambers of products. When you pump out the product, both formulas are dispensed - one clear and one a white cream. This formula works to nourish and moisturize hair while also reducing frizz and adding definition and shine to your curls! I apply a few pumps of this product to damp hair, and I love the results!

CoLab Rio Tropical Dry Shampoo* - This formula is one of the best dry shampoos I ever used! Unfortunately, I didn't realize that my bottle was pretty much empty until we arrived in Barcelona and I tried to use it. I already have a few back ups though for my upcoming vacation!

Benefit's Erase Paste* - This jar has been almost empty for weeks, but I kept holding on to it because I wanted to be able to use it on my wedding day. I got a few more days of use out of the jar during my honeymoon, and I'm already missing it! This concealer works perfectly to hide any blemishes and dark circles.

be Delectable Coconut & Cream Body Wash* - This was a great travel sized body wash, and it also worked really well as a shaving cream! I love multi-use products like this for travelling, and the coconut scent was also really fun & Summery!

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream* - Another great travel sized product! This formula had a gel like consistency, and worked well both morning and night.

September 2015 Empties

Macadamia Natural Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo* - This shampoo was sulfate free but still easily worked into a great lather. I did find my hair to be quite tangly after using this shampoo, so I don't think I would repurchase.

Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish* - This tube lasted forever! The scrub itself is a very thick consistency, and a mix of a heavy cream with exfoliating bits. I absolutely loved the sweet scent of this scrub and would highly recommend it!

Philip B Oud Royal Forever Shine Shampoo & Conditioner* - When I used this duo together, my hair was left incredibly hydrated, and I felt as though I could skip using as many styling products. This formula left my natural waves looking a bit more defined, and my frizz is reduced significantly!

Nisim Fast Shampoo* - This was another sulfate free shampoo, and I found that it worked quite well. Nothing to write home about, but it got the job done.

September 2015 Empties

Ouidad Color Sense Color Preserving Shampoo & Conditioner - I liked getting to try out these travel size duo! I liked both products, but not enough to seek out the full size bottles. I will keep these travel bottles to refill for future holidays though!

TRESemmé Split Remedy Split End Sealing Serum* - After using this product, when my hair had dried, I found that my hair was sleeker, softer, and just generally healthier-looking. I don't have a huge issue with split ends, but my ends were always very dry. This serum has helped to hydrate my ends, so they don't feel like straw!

Lush African Paradise Body Conditioner* - This was such a luxurious product to have in my shower! I really love Lush's Ro's Argan, and this was a similar product with a different scent. I have to say that I preferred Ro's Argan, but African Paradise was a nice change too. However, at $40 a tub, I'm not sure that I would ever repurchase this for myself.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion* - I absolutely loved this lotion, and it was liht enough to use during the hot Summer months. The formula absorbed into my skin quickly, and the scent was incredible!

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter* - These Body Butters are some of my absolutely favourite moisturizers, and the Shea scent is so nice. If you're looking for a light, calming scent, then you'll love the Shea line!

September 2015 Empties

The Body Shop Strawberry Hand Cream* - I took this small tube with me on my honeymoon, and finished it off soon after we arrived home. The strawberry scent was perfect for Summer, and the formula is a light gel-cream, and I love that it doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy at all. Even though it's a lighter consistency, it's still very hydrating.
Lancôme's Grandiose Mascara* - This mascara became a quick favourite! This formula was a great everyday mascara - it didn't give my lashes extreme volume or drama, but it gave great definition.

Avon Naturals Energizing Green Tea & Verbena Hydrating Shower Gel* - This shower gel lathers really nicely, especially when used on a loofah. This scent is fairly strong, and it does linger on my skin for a few hours after showering.

Philosophy Beach Girl 3-in-1 (shower gel, bubble bath, and shampoo)* - I really enjoy this 3 in 1 formula from Philosophy, although I really only tend to use them as shower gels. This orange slush scent was a great Summer option!

So there you have it! I'll try to be more consistent about posting my empties, as it definitely helps keep me accountable and eager to use up my products! I'm also going to try to do the Finish 6 by Winter Challenge, I'm just trying to figure out what 6 products I want to finish up.

What products have you finished up lately?
