Dior has recently launched 44 new shades to their Dior Addict Lipstick* line, and today I have four of the new shades to share with you! This new lipstick formula has a creamy inner core that actually acts like a top coat for your colour, which is pretty genius if you ask me!
First off, I absolutely love this packaging. The tubes are magnetic, and slightly holographic. The Dior logo is printed on one side of the silver tubes, and the shade number & names are printed on the bottom. The "CD" imprinted in each tube is a really pretty detail, but unfortunately it'll disappear in one or two uses. There's no real scent to this lipstick, which is a nice change from some of Dior's other highly fragranced lippies! The formula of these lipsticks is really fantastic - creamy, very comfortable to wear, and easy to apply. This colour will transfer since it's so creamy, so you'll have to reapply every few hours.
First up is Be Dior, a gorgeous shimmery raspberry with the most pigmentation out of the four shades I tried. Even so, this lipstick is still on the sheer side of things.
Smile is a pale pink with nude undertones and a hint of shimmer. This is one of those lipsticks that are super easy to swipe on when you're on the go and don't have a mirror.
Tribale is a beautiful coral lipstick with a pretty healthy dose of shimmer. This would have been a great Summer shade!
And finally we have Wonderful, which is actually pretty similar to Smile. Another pale pink, but I find that Wonderful has a bit more pigmentation, and it's a bit cooler in tone, and it's almost a bit frosty.
With 44 shades in this new lineup, there's bound to be at least one colour that speaks to you! At $42 CAD a pop, these are definitely a splurge item, but it's fun to spoil yourself every once in a while, right? Have you checked out the new Dior Addict Lipsticks yet? Which shade is your favourite?
Wonderful and Be Dior are beautiful!
