The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream

Today I have another new product from The Body Shop to share with you! Their new Oils of Life line has recently launched, and is a skincare line that combines 3 precious seed oils from Chile, Egypt, and China. I've been trying out The Body Shop's Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream* ($34 CAD/50ml), read on to hear my thoughts on this new moisturizer!

The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream

"By infusing 3 precious seed oils from around the world, known for their revitalising and repairing properties on skin – Black Cumin seed oil from Egypt, Camellia seed oil from China and Rosehip seed oil from Chile – in to a dewy-fresh gel cream with illuminating micro-pearls, we created a lighter alternative to the cream that intensely revitalises skin. Skin feels instantly freshly hydrated and suppler. From the moment it touches the skin, this Intensely Revitalising Gel Cream delicately melts onto the face, leaving a fresh light finish without a greasy feel." - The Body Shop

This moisturizer comes packaged in a heavy glass jar with a twist off black lid. The gel cream has a light yellow colour to it, and a fairly heavy perfumey scent to it. The formula is very hydrating but still light and absorbs quickly thanks to the gel formula. I've been using this gel cream day and night, and I think it works really well both ways. I do think that as the weather gets a bit colder I'll need something a bit heavier at night, but it's working well at the moment! There's also a slightly heavier version of this gel cream available, called the Intensely Revitalizing Essence Lotion available if you have drier skin.

Have you checked out any products from The Body Shop's Oils of Life line? The Body Shop has been bringing out some really luxurious collections lately, and I feel like they're targeting a slightly older audience. This line does have a slightly higher price tag than some of The Body Shop's other ranges, but the ingredients seem to be of really high quality.
