A few weeks ago I shared one of the palettes from Dior's State of Gold Collection, and now I'm back with the other palette! Dior's Holiday 2015 5 Couleurs Eternal Gold Eyeshadow Palette* ($70 CAD), has more earthy tones compared to the warm & rich State of Gold Palette.
I really love the packaging of Dior's 5 Couleurs Palettes, the simple compact comes with two dual ended sponges/brushes, and a fair sized mirror. This palette has a fun zig zag print pressed into the powders. All five of these shadows have a soft creamy formula to them, and the pigmentation is superb!
This palette contains a gorgeous slate grey, a shimmery beige, a greyed out purple, a deep shimmery charcoal, and a creamy white. These neutral tones are great for creating an earthy look but the deep charcoal and purple shadows are great for creating a more dramatic look. The formula of all five shadows in this palette are easy to work with, and don't fade or crease throughout the day on my lids.
Have you checked out the Dior State of Gold Collection yet? So far I'm absolutely loving everything from this collection! What do you think about this Eternal Gold palette?
I'm really impressed by the quality of the shadows in particular in this collection, but everything is stunning! I have to admit my heart belongs to the other palette though!
ReplyDeleteThese palettes really are quite amazing! I do agree with you though, the other palette is just perfection!
DeleteThe shades are so pretty! Purple has to be my fave eyeshadow colour.
ReplyDeleteThanks Natalie! Purple is one of my favourite shadow shades too, especially when blended with neutral tones :)
