Ever since I went from brunette back to blonde (with the help of a million highlights), my hair just hasn't been the same. My hair gets incredibly tangled in an insanely short amount of time. And for the first time that I can remember, my tangles are starting at the root. Since my hair is wavy.curly, I don't like to brush my hair throughout the day, only right before I'm going to shower. I've been using the Tangle Teezer for a few years now, but it's just not getting the job done on these intense tangles that I've been getting lately! Goody has come out with a few new brushes recently, and I was really excited to be able to put them to the ultimate test - my unruly locks!
First up is Goody's Ouchless Purse Brush*, which is nice and small so you can take it with you on the go. The Ouchless Brushes are meant to reduce hair breakage by 55%, which is amazing news for us with coloured or damaged hair. Each brush has a flexible cushion pad and extra gentle bristles. This brush just glides right through my tangles, and I was really shocked to see it working better than my Tangle Teezer! On a good day, brushing my hair with this brush truly is "ouchless", but even on my worst tangles the ouch-factor is very minimal. This brush is definitely going to be a purse staple from now on!
Goody's Ouchless Paddle Brush* is a larger version of the Purse Brush, and has all of the same great features! This Ouchless line is quite amazing, and I love that there are a few different sizes/styles to choose from. There's also an oval shaped Cushion Brush available!
Goody's QuikStyle Paddle Brush* is unlike any other brush that I've used before, because it actually has a thick layer of a towel beneath the bristles! The absorbant microfiber bristles work to remove excess moisture from your hair with each stroke. The ball-tipped bristles work to gently detangle and smooth hair. This brush is a bit gimmicky, but the towel really does remove a bit of the moisture from my hair! This brush isn't going to replace your hair dryer, but it's still a pretty cool product!
Goody's Gelous Grip Paddle Brush* has a thick gripped handle which is quite comfortable in my hands. I really love the bright turquoise colour of this brush, and it's also available in a bright coral shade. This brush has a flexible cushion pad and balled tipped bristles that feel comfortable on the scalp.
What hair brush are you currently using? Have you checked out any of Goody's new brushes?
So cute! Goody is kinda pricey herein the Philippines but I've heard there great.

The brushes are really amazing, and they're quite reasonably priced here in Canada!
DeleteThat brush with the towel in it sounds really cool!
ReplyDeleteIt's such an interesting concept!
DeleteThat brush with the towel in it looks so soothing! Although I switched to boars head brushes from Mason Pearson at b-glowing and I will never go back to another brush.
