"Now with 16 additional, bold shades of Everlasting Liquid Lipstick for all-night wear, this innovative formula gives lips long-lasting wear and high-pigment color. Its creamy, color-rich formula glides over lips like a gloss but dries to a true matte finish. It’s infused with natural comfort-enhancing ingredients, including vitamin E and sunflower seed so you can flaunt lasting matte color that leaves lips feeling comfortable." - Sephora
Lolita II is a dusty orange with nude undertones. Application was a bit patchy with this one, so make sure you go over your lips a few times to get even coverage.
Mother is a bright blue-based pink. Application was a breeze, and this is a shade that I could see myself wearing regularly.
Double Dare is a pinky toned nude with great pigmentation. I love my nude lippies to have pink tones in them, it brings just the right amount of colour to my lips without making me look washed out!
Nosferatu is a bold crimson red lipstick that will definitely get you noticed. Take your time while applying this one, since application can be a bit patchy.
Exorcism is a deep vampy purple shade that's fitting for this time of year. Application was a bit patchy and uneven, even with a few coats.
These lipsticks dry almost instantly to a matte finish. While they aren't necessarily drying, I did find myself wanting to top up with a balm or gloss soon after applying these liquid lipsticks. True to claims, these lipsticks did last quite a while on my lips - I could go 6-8 hours before reapplying! However, these lipsticks still do transfer - I was really hoping that they wouldn't!
I found that the formula and pigmentation different slightly from shade to shade. My favourite of the shades that I tried was Mother, followed closely by Double Dare. I found Exorcism quick hard to work with, which isn't abnormal for me and vampy lip shades. I didn't find the orange tones in Lolita II all that flattering on my pale skin tone, but I'd be interested to try out the original shade for comparison. Nosferatu was a beautiful deep red that would be a great option for the upcoming holiday season.
Have you tried any of Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks? If so, which shades would you recommend?
