Today I'm back with another product from Lush's Christmas 2015 range! Lush's Dashing Santa Bath Bomb* ($5.25) is a funky looking Santa with gold boots that fizz away in your tub. After trying outLush's Peeping Santa Bubble Bar and absolutely loving it, let's see how I ended up liking the next Santa themed product from the Christmas range!
"Make a dash for this moving bath bomb with a cheerful and uplifting scent of satsumas at Christmas. Watch Santa fly about your bath as his golden boots fizz away, releasing toning mandarin oil, bergamot oil and orange flower absolute that help put a spring in your step, too." - Lush
To use Lush's Bath Bombs, simply fill up your tub with water, and drop it in. All bath bombs are slightly different - some fizz away almost instantly, and others are more slow dissolving. Dashing Santa was pretty slow to fully dissolve, but I had fun watching it turn my bath a beautiful pinky red colour.
This bath is named Dashing Santa because the golden boots on Santa are supposed to fizz away, and propel the bath bomb all around your tub. While this bath bomb did kind of slowly spin in my bath, I wouldn't describe it as "dashing". Perhaps I just got a dud, I'm not sure.
The main reason that I usually love Lush's bath products so much is the amazing scents. However, I have to be honest and say that Dashing Santa let down my nose. It didn't smell bad, it just didn't smell like much of anything at all. The ingredients include orange flower absolute, bergamot oil, and mandarin oil, but I didn't get a strong kick of citrus at all. Again, maybe my bomb was a bit of a dud, I hope that the others smell a bit stronger than mine!
After about 5 minutes of fizzing away!
So, Lush's Dashing Santa makes a beautiful show and a pretty bath, but it didn't qutie move around my bath as promised, and then scent was barely noticeable. I think that there are definitely other products in Lush's Christmas range this year that you would enjoy a bit more. Have you tried out Lush's Dashing Santa Bath Bomb? Was mine just a dud or were you a bit let down by yours as well?
