Clinique's Pretty Easy Eye Palette

I love a good neutral eye palette - they're so of my weakness. A bright, colourful palette is always fun, but the truth is that I hardly ever wear anything but neutral shadows. So that's why I was so excited when I first saw Clinique's Pretty Easy Eye Palette* ($55 CAD)! This palette includes 8 neutral shadows and two mini liners, to help you create that perfect everyday eye look.

Clinique's Pretty Easy Eye Palette comes packaged in a simple silver mirrored case, just like most of Clinique's palettes. Inside the palette, you get a full sized mirror, 8 shadows, and two mini Skinny Sticks.

All 8 of the eye shadows are incredibly creamy with great pigmentation. I've been a fan of Clinique's eye shadows for ages, they just never disappoint! All 8 shadows are very wearable colours, and they all work well together, you really can't go wrong when creating an eye look with this palette! Most of the shadows are shimmery, but #1, #6, and #7 are matte.

You also get two mini Skinny Sticks in this palette, in the shades Slim Sable and Slimming Black. I honestly wasn't too impressed with these liners - the tip is completely flat, making it almost impossible to creating a skinny line. I was always left with an uneven, chubby line, no matter what technique I used. Also, the pigmentation was a bit patchy, especially for the Slim Sable shade.

As you can see, the lines are definitely not "slim"!

All in all, I absolutely adore these shadows, but I won't be using the liners anymore. It's really too bad about the liners, because I've tried a lot of liners from Clinique that I've really loved! I still think that this palette is worth picking up for the shadows alone, especially if you like that everyday neutral look!

    1. Definitely a great alternative to the Naked palettes! But it's still around the same price as those unfortunately!

    1. Ya, and the palettes more about the shadows anyways, so I'm still a fan!
