November 2015 Empties

Well hello everybody! I know, I know, I'm late with the empties post this month. But hey, it's better late than never, right? November seemed to be the month of finishing up lip products, but then I am a lip product addict, so it's not really a huge surprise!

November 2015 Empties

Aveeno Fresh Essentials Daily Exfoliating Scrub (reviewed here) - This scrub offered a light exfoliation, as was a good option from the drugstore, but it didn't blow me away.

Colab London Classic Dry Shampoo (reviewed here) - I absolutely love this formula! There are a lot of really bad dry shampoos out there, and it can take a while to find one that's even worth using. This one might be my new favourite!

Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 (reviewed here) - If your lips need intense hydration, then this is the lip balm for you! It can be a bit greasy, so I tended to use it at night before bed.

Benefit Fake Up Concealer (reviewed here) - As you might have seen in my Finish 6 by Winter Update, this bad boy is all gone!

The Body Shop's Glazed Apple Body Butter (reviewed here) - This product was also in my Finish 6 by Winter Challenge! I really loved this festive scent, and I just barely finished it off in time for this years' holiday season!

The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter - I absolutely love this strawberry scent, and these lip butters are super hydrating!

Epic Blend Vegan Wild Berry Lip Balm (reviewed here) - You might have also seen this lip balm in my November Favourites, and I was super sad to see it go! The scent was nice but subtle, and the formula was super hydrating. Highly recommend!

Lush Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar (reviewed here) - This shampoo smelt incredible - super sweet! I took this shampoo bar on all of my European vacations - I highly recommend bringing along a solid shampoo whenever you're travelling! But I also used this shampoo at home, nd I was really surprised by how long it lasted!

November 2015 Empties

Tender is the Night Massage Bar (reviewed here) - I recently realized that I had a few of Lush's massage bars lying around, so I'm on a mission to use them up! I sometimes use them as massage bars, but I mostly just use them as moisturizers!

Bliss Foot Patrol (reviewed here) - I was really impressed by how hydrating this lotion was! If you have issues with dry feet (ugh, I know), then I'd recommend trying out this cream.

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream (reviewed here) - I've also noticed just how many hand creams I have in my stash, so I've started trying to focus on just one tube at a time! This formula from The Body Shop was very heavily scented and lightly hydrating, making it a better option for the Summer months.

Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer in Pink Flamingo
(reviewed here) - Another product from my Finish 6 By Winter Challenge! This was a great everyday pink gloss, loved it!

November 2015 Empties

Senscience Renewal Masque (reviewed here) - This mask hydrated my hair without weighing it down, and was super hydrating. Highly recommend for anyone with dry, damaged, or curly hair!

Bioderma Atoderm Lèvres (reviewed here) - This lip balm was targeted towards those with damaged and dehydrated lips, but the formula itself was very thin and not that hydrating. The scent was quite nice, but I wouldn't recommend or repurchase.

Josie Maran Argan Oil (reviewed here) - I bought this bottle ages ago (like 4 years maybe?)! Even though it took my a loooong time to use this up, I really did love it. I used this oil on my face at night when I needed extra hydration, on my eczema, on my hair, and on my cuticles.

Kiehl's Sun Protector Lotion Spray For Body SPF 50 (reviewed here) - I didn't actually use this up fully, but I just noticed that it was expired. Always make sure to check out sunscreens for their expiration dates, because that's not something you want to mess around with! I really liked this non-greasy formula, and the spray applicator was quite handy.

Lush Rehab Shampoo (reviewed here) - This was a nice hydrating formula with a light consistency, so it won't weigh down your curls. While I liked this shampoo, it didn't blow me away, especially considering it's almost $14 for a small bottle.

November 2015 Empties

So there you have it! All of my beauty trash from November! I'll try to be more on time with my December Empties, but with all of the excitement of the New Year, I'm making no promises ;)

What products have you finished off recently?

  1. I LOVE Tender is the Night, Lush Massage Bars are so nice. I really should work on using mine up, I still have 2 or 3 lying around as well and winter is the perfect time. I haven't posted my October OR November empties yet, I'm going to be away for a couple weeks though so I figure they are perfect posts to schedule then. Can't believe it's almost another year of empties done!

    4. It's trueeee but to be honest I love reading them and I love having that record, I think it's great to see what I've actually used up, and when beauty blogging feels like more more more, it's nice to sit down and be like, here are things I actually finished :)

I will definitely have to instagram! I might even manage a blog post...I'm going to try at least!

    5. Yes please do a blog post on your travels! :)

Ya, I definitely get a sense of accomplishment doing these empties posts, and it also pushes me to keep trying to use up products, and not just hoard everything!
