OPI Ro-Man-ce on the Moon

Today I'm back with another red polish from OPI's new Starlight Collection! OPI's Ro-Man-ce on the Moon* (how cute is that name?!) is a sparkly red that will be a great option for your New Years mani!

OPI Ro-Man-ce on the Moon

I used two coats of OPI's Ro-Man-ce on the Moon for a fully opaque look. This polish almost has a metallic finish to it, which catches the light really nicely. The shimmers are quite subtle, but they definitely do add some depth to this beautiful red!

While this polish is absolutely beautiful, I was quite disappointed when my nail started to chip within 24 hour. The chipping was fairly minor, but it was still a pain to have painted my nails in the morning, and already need to repaint by that same night. If your nails are prone to chipping, like mine are, then just be warned that this polish might chip faster than normal.

Overall, this would be a pretty polish for a special event or a night out, but don't count on it lasting throughout the week, or even the weekend. Have you checked out OPI's new Starlight Collection yet? Which polishes are your favourites so far?

  1. Like I mentioned in my review, this is such a pretty red. I really don''t like shimmery/frosty reds but this one just looked good.
Too bad about the first day chipping though, although I experience that with virtually any polish I use.

    1. I normally don't love frosty reds either, but this one is just so pretty!!
Aww that sucks about the chipping - I can normally get 2-3 days tops.
