Happy Friday friends! Today I'm back with another stunning product from Dior's new Glowing Gardens Collection! This collection for Spring 2016 includes two new shades of Diorskin Nude Air invisible compact powders, enhanced with a subtle shimmer! I have the shade Glowing Nude* ($64 CAD), and trust me, you'll want to add this beauty to your collection!
Dior;s Diorskin Nude Air Glowing Gardens Illuminating Powder in Glowing Nude is packaged in a pretty silver compact with a plaid design etched onto the lid. This powder also comes with a small kabuki brush, which honestly I don't tend to reach for. I prefer using my own full size brushes, but that's just personal preference!
The actual powder itself is just stunning - the golden tones are simply fabulous! The word NUDE is etched into the powder, along with a beautiful floral design. This powder is formulated with orange extract, vitamins, and minerals which work to support a toned complexion. This is one soft and silky powder, and my brushes pick up the product quite easily. I really like to apply this highlighter to my cheekbones after applying blush, and on the bridge of my nose.
I personally normally gravitate towards silver or white toned highlighters, like NARS' Albatross, but I still do definitely appreciate a good golden highlighter. Glowing Nude offers a warm glow to my skin, without adding heavy colour. I think that this highlighter is versatile enough to go with almost any blush, and in these pictures I'm wearing Marc Jacobs' Shameless Bold Blush in Reckless. The only drawback about this highlighter from Dior is that I do find that I have to touch up after just a few hours. This compact is small enough to keep in your purse if you did want to touch up throughout the day.
Have you checked out Dior's new Glowing Gardens Collection yet? There's also another new highlighter in the shade Glowing Pink, which I'm definitely interested in! This is a great high quality, silky soft highlighter, and I find the golden tones to be quite flattering on my pale skin. However, this powder does need to be topped up every 4-5 hours, and maybe even more often if you have oily skin. Overall, I still absolutely love this highlighter, and I'd definitely recommend that you check it out while you can!
