Winters in Ottawa can be pretty brutal, and every Winter my skin gets super dry. My hands usually get the worst of it, especially my cuticles. So of course I was happy to be able to try out Red Carpet Manicure's Hydrating Cuticle Balm* ($15) to try to heal my poor dry cuticles!
This cuticle balm comes packaged in a small green glass jar with a twist off plastic lid. The cuticle balm itself is a minty green colour, and it melts on contact. In the jar, this looks like a gel, but as soon as you touch the product it melts into an oil. There's avocado in this formula, which we all know is full of healthy fats, and I'm sure that it helps to hydrate and moisturize.
There's a slightly fruity scent to this balm, but it's not really noticeable after you apply it to your cuticles. Even though this balm turns into an oily texture, it doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy at all, which I definitely appreciate it. After just the first use I was able to tell a difference in my cuticles! Now my cuticles are in much better shape, which is a very rare occurrence for my nails this time of year.
This was my first experience with Red Carpet Manicure, and I'm super impressed! This cuticle balm is super hydrating, non-greasy, and cruelty free. What more could you ask for?!
How are your cuticles holding up this Winter?
Wow, this sounds really lovely!
