Hello friends! When I first started beauty blogging I was really into all of the different beauty boxes on the market, but then somewhere along the way I stopped subscribing. However, I'm happy to be back with Glossybox's February 2016 Box*, which is Valentine's Day themed!
I'm absolutely obsessed with this packaging! I'm definitely holding on to this box - it's just too cute to throw away. The box lid has a beautiful watercolour heart shaped balloon design on it, with the phrase "Love is in the Air"!
This box is $21 USD, but you can also get better deals if you sign up for a year-long subscription. Each box contains 5 beauty samples from niche, high-end, and emerging brands.
First up is Benefit's The Porefessional, which I've previously reviewed. This is actually one of my favourite products from Benefit, so it's nice to have a convenient travel sized tube!
Next we have BioRepublic's Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask, but it looks like the scents varied between boxes. I really love trying out different sheet masks, so I was really excited to see this included in my GlossyBox, plus this brand is cruelty free!
GlamGlow's ThirstyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser was another product that really excited me from February's box! I've tried out a few of GlamGlow's famous face masks, and I'm quite excited to try out this cleanser. You can actually buy this 1 oz size from Sephora for $16 CAD!
And lastly we have Teeez Cosmetics' Oasis Gem Lipstick in Heat Wave Ruby, which looks like a really pretty red lipstick! This is my first time hearing of Teeez Cosmetics, and I'm already hooked on their funky packaging!
Do you subscribe to any beauty boxes? What do you think of this Valentine's Day inspired GlossyBox?
This box is adorable!! That lipstick looks really nice, I also haven't heard of that brand before!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I'm excited to rock that red lipstick!!
DeleteThe products are actually all pretty interesting but I'm a bit surprised with the price, if this box was $15, that would be more appropriate in my opinion
ReplyDeleteYa I agree, it is a bit pricey at $26 CAD after shipping. You can get better deals if you sign up for a yearly subscription though!
