BECCA Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Guava/Moonstone

I've been absolutely loving all of the BECCA products that I've been trying out lately! I've already reviewed some highlighters and a powder blush from the brand, but today I'm back with a blush/highlighter hybrid! BECCA's Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Guava/Moonstone* ($33 CAD) is an absolute beauty, I know that I'll be reaching for it very often this coming Summer!

"This lightweight formula packs four must-have qualities into one formula: a powder to add a pop of color, a stain to give staying power, an illuminating highlighter, and a cream to deliver a flawless finish. Water-resistant, each pot combines Becca’s bestselling Beach Tint with a Shimmering Skin Perfector™ for effortlessly buildable, complexion-enhancing color, soothing hydration, and a youthful glow." - Sephora

First of all, I always love BECCA's packaging. This blush/highlighter soufflé is housed in a small glass pot with a silver metallic lid. You can easily see the shade through the bottom of the glass pot. The soufflé itself is even more beautiful than the packaging! The coral blush swirled with the pale gold highlighter is just stunning.

The consistency of this product is best described as a mousse or soufflé. When you touch the product with your fingers, you'll notice that it has a slightly bouncy texture, and it feels super smooth and soft. After a few uses, the coral and gold tones do tend to blend together in the pot, so you won't always have that pretty marbled look.

I like to use a stippling brush to apply this cream blush, as I find that it gives the most natural and flawless look. However, in a pinch you could definitely just use your fingers to apply. I think that the blend of coral and gold are incredibly complimentary, and very appropriate for the upcoming Spring and Summer months! This blush can apply fairly heavily if you aren't careful, so try to use a lighter hand. I would also recommend setting this blush with either a setting spray or a powder, to get a full day of wear from it.

I absolutely love that this product is a two in one - blush and highlighter! This would make a great option to bring along with me while travelling, since I don't really like travelling with powder products anyways (I'm always scared that they'll break en route!). Have you tried any of BECCA's Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflés? Which shades are your favourites?
