Over the years I've put my hair through a lot - let's not talk about my middle school years when I thought that it was okay to use a wet-dry straightener on fresh out of the shower hair. Needless to say, my hair is a bit damaged, dry, and it can always use a bit of a moisture kick. I've been trying out Kérastase's Résistance Bain Thérapiste* & Masque Thérapiste*, which are formulated for hair that is damaged, broken, and brittle, which I can definitely identify with.
Kérastase's Résistance range is packaged in pretty aqua green bottles! Kérastase's Résistance Bain Thérapiste ($42) is the shampoo in this range, which will work on thick or thin hair. What's cool about this shampoo is that a semi-solid gel surround the fiber to repair the hair fiber and reduce friction during washing! This formula is fairly thick, and you only need a small amount to work up a great lather.
Kérastase's Résistance Masque Thérapiste ($64) has an extremely thick texture that feels very luxurious. I've had such great results with Kérastase masks in the past, and this one is no exception. I would only recommend this hair masque to those with dry and thick hair, as it is so hydrating. I worry that if you have thin hair, this masque might be too heavy and weigh your hair down. However, for my dry and insanely thick mane, this masque worked wonders! After each use, my hair feels super smooth, soft, and revitalized.
If you have thick, dry, and/or damaged hair, then I'd definitely recommend checking out Kérastase's Résistance range of products. Kérastase is a more luxurious hair care range, but if you're investing a lot of money into professional highlights like I am, then I think that it's worth it to also splurge on high quality hair care.
Have you tried out any of Kérastase's hair care ranges? Which range is your favourite?
