L'Oréal's Infalliable Pro-Matte Glosses have a fairly large slanted doe foot applicator that picks up a fair amount of product. However, I wasn't a huge fan of this applicator, because since it is large, it makes it difficult to get crisp, clean lines. These glosses are very pigmented, so I opted to use a lip brush after several messy attempts with the doe foot applicator.
Statement Nude is a warm nude colour that's very wearable. As with all of the four shades that I tried, the pigmentation is on point! One layer and you're good to go.
Shanghai Scarlet is definitely a statement red lip colour! This red does have slight orange undertones, which I do find tend to make my lips look a bit on the yellow side.
Rouge Envy is a magenta shade that I would definitely wear a lot in the Fall and Winter months!
Forbidden Kiss is definitely my favourite out of the four shades that I've tried! This plum colour is super flattering, and the pigmentation is just perfect. I find that most vampy purples apply unevenly or patchy, but that's definitely not the case with Forbidden Kiss!
While these glosses are matte, they surprisingly aren't drying or uncomfortable! My only complaint is that these definitely aren't transfer proof, so you'll need to touch up after eating/drinking, etc.
There are a total of 10 shades available in the Infalliable Pro-Matte Gloss range. If you love matte lippies, then I'd definitely recommend giving these a try!
What are your favourite matte lipsticks/glosses?
I love the shades, but I found them to transfer way to much for my test, especially for a matte lip!
ReplyDeleteYa, they do transfer pretty easily!
DeleteForbidden Kiss is so pretty on you!!
