March 2016 Empties

Hello friends! I'm back with another round of empties! That's right, today we're going through my trash. I really love sharing my empties with all of you because it's a great way to motivate me to continue to use up products (as opposed to being a beauty hoarder!), and this way I can give you a super qualified review on each product!

March 2016 Empties

Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter Beauty Bar with Warm Vanilla Scent (reviewed here) - This is a super rich and creamy soap, and the vanilla scent was just lovely!

Guerlain Universal Eyebrow Kit (reviewed here) - Another product from my Product I Want to Use Up Challenge! I've been trying to use this baby up for a while, but it just kept holding on! This mini palette contained 4 powders, but I mainly just used the lighter brow colour, as the other two brow shades were too dark for me, and I just wasn't a huge fan of the pink highlighter.

THEFACESHOP Protect Me! Hand Cream in Fennec Fox/Mango (reviewed here) - I used this as a body lotion, and it worked really well for that purpose! The mango scent was super yummy too!

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Body Butter (reviewed here) - This was a holiday scent, and I'm really surprised that I used it up so quickly (I normally tend to hoard the holiday scents!). As always, I absolutely love The Body Shop's Body Butters, I always go back to them!

Finesse Keratin Protein Dry Shampoo (reviewed here) - This is a very light dry shampoo with a clear finish. This was a good option for 1st or 2nd day hair if you don't have oily hair, but it didn't quite manage to work on anything more intense!

The Body Shop Glazed Apple Body Polish (reviewed here) - I really loved this seasonal scent, and this formula was really nice as well! This body scrub gave a nice exfoliation, and it also lathered up slightly.

Pureology Strength Cure Fabulous Lengths Treatment (reviewed here) - I absolutely loved this hair treatment! The bottle lasted me almost two years, and I used it pretty much every time that I washed my hair. If you have dry or frizzy hair, then I think that you would also love this product!

L'Oreal Miss Manga Voluminous Black Angel Mascara - This mascara was just okay on my lashes. It gave me a natural look, but if I applied even a bit too much I did get some clumping.

March 2016 Empties

Lush Brightside Bubble Bar (reviewed here) - This is a great bubble bar with a citrusy scent, and I was able to get 4 baths out of this guy! I've used this before and I'll definitely repurchase again in the future.

Lush Lonely Heart Bubble Bar (reviewed here) - This is embarassingly from Lush's 2015 Valentine's Day Collection! I had purchased a few backups, and I'm slowly working my way through my Lush collection, and getting back into taking baths again!

Lush Roses All the Way Soap (reviewed here) - I really love the scent of this soap, and it actually lasted quite a while! This was a limited edition soap for Valentine's Day, and I'm hoping that they bring it back next year!

Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum - I used this morning and night before applying my eye cream, and this bottle lasted ages! I'm honestly not sure if this product really did anything, since I don't have any wrinkles or fine lines (yet!). But, I do like using serums as they allow your moisturizers to absorb deeper into the skin.

Too Faced Better Than False Lashes System - This duo was one of those mascara and fibres systems. I didn't notice a huge change in my lashes when using this duo compared to when I use just any other mascara. Too Faced has since released a newer version of this mascara, an I'm interested in seeing if it's any better!

March 2016 Empties

NYC Sunny Bronzer (reviewed here) - This bronzer has been holding on for over two years, and I've just finally managed to use it up! I really enjoyed using this bronzer to bring a hint of colour to my face, but you could also use it as a contour shade if you wanted to. And you really can't beat the price!

Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick #505 Orchid (reviewed here) - This was such a nice everyday lipstick colour, and the formula was super creamy and hydrating! If you've got the cash to spend, I'd highly recommend checking out this line of lipsticks!

Sephora Collection Ultimate Warming Cleanser (reviewed here) - This was a really nice cleanser that I used morning & night! The warming effect was quite mild, but it was still enjoyable.

NARS Deep Throat Blush (reviewed here) - Wow, I can't believe that I actually used this one up! This blush was featured in my Products I Want to Use Up in 2016 Challenge, I've had this blush for a few years now, and I did find that the formula was getting a bit dried out, and the colour payoff wasn't what it used to be. However, this is a beautiful shimmery coral colour, and I prefer it over NARS' famous Orgasm blush!

Epic Blend Vegan Pineapple Mint & Hemp Coconut Lip Balms (reviewed here) - I really, really love Epic Blend's Lip Balms! Both of these "flavours" were great, and I love that they offer a few vegan scents that contain no beeswax!

Bioderma Hydrabio Sérum Moisturizing Concentrate - I've been using this serum morning and night before applying my moisturizer. I really liked the thin consistency, as it absorbed into my skin pretty quickly! I'd definitely repurchase.

OPI Top Coat - I've gone through quite a few bottles of this stuff over the years! It's a good basic top coat, but I do find that once I get about 3/4 through the bottle it starts to get quite thick and unusable.

March 2016 Empties

March was a pretty great month for empties, wouldn't you agree?! I'm amazed at the beauty products that I managed to use up this past month, and I'm really excited to continue to use things up! Leave me a comment letting me know what products you've used up lately :)
