What I Ate In A Day #15 - Vegan

Hello hello! I'm back with another What I Ate In A Day post, which I've been sharing with you every Tuesday (you can check out last weeks' post here)! I follow a vegan diet/lifestyle, so all of the foods that I'll be showing you today are meat, dairy, and egg free. As always, I drink a ton of water throughout the day!

Breakfast

I started off my day with a berry smoothie bowl! The base a blend of Silk's Vanilla Almond Milk, blueberries, and bananas, and then I topped off my bowl with more blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and kiwi. Yum!

Lunch

For lunch I made Vegan Sloppy Joes, which were absolutely delicious! I substituted the meat for lentils, but the texture was spot on. I had two of these, and I'll definitely be making them again soon.

Snack

Fruit Bowl

Throughout the afternoon I snacked on some fruit! I had a bunch of red grapes, a banana, and a red pear.

Dinner

For dinner we were craving pizza, so that's what we had! My toppings were Daiya's Medium Cheddar Style Farmhouse Block (I much prefer these blocks over their shreds!), onion, pineapple, corn (don't knock it til you try it!), and Smoky Maple Meatless Bacon Tempeh! I also had a healthy serving of fries and ketchup, but I forgot to photograph them!

Dessert

At the end of the day I was craving some chocolate, so I had a few squares of Hummingbird's Maple Chocolate. This chocolate is a bit bitter, so it's definitely for the dark chocolate lovers out there.

Well there you have it! Another documented day of vegan eating! I hope you've gotten some food inspiration from this post, or at least some kind of idea of what a typical vegan eats in a normal day. Remember to check back next Tuesday for another What I Ate In A Day post!
