I started off my day with a bowl of chocolate banana nice cream, which was just 3 frozen bananas and some carob powder blended up! I topped things off with another sliced banana, chopped up carob chips, coconut, a few raspberries, and chia seeds.
My husband made my lunch, and this is what he created! Marinated tofu (he used a BBQ sauce to marinate), and roasted red bell peppers, carrots, and asparagus.
Throughout the afternoon I snacked on a pear and some baby carrots with Catalina dressing - my favourite combo!
For supper I made some spaghetti with sun dried tomatoes, and a generous sprinkling of Go Veggie!'s Vegan Parmesan. If you served this parmesan to a non-vegan, I promise you that they would never be able to tell that it was vegan, it's that good!
A new vegan bakery has opened up in Ottawa today, and my husband and I have already visited twice! Little Jo Berry's is located on Wellington St., and I'd highly recommend stopping by if you're ever in Ottawa's capital! I've been craving donuts for months now, so I was so excited when I saw that Little Jo Berry's was making vegan donuts!
Well there you have it! Another documented day of vegan eating! I hope you've gotten some food inspiration from this post, or at least some kind of idea of what a typical vegan eats in a normal day. Remember to check back next Tuesday for another What I Ate In A Day post!
