April 2016 Empties

I'm back with another empties post! April 2016 was a great month for empties, as I feel like I used up quite a few products - including two lip glosses! I'm trying to use up as may lip products as possible this year, as my lippie collection is just getting out of control. April gave me motivation that it is possible to shrink that collection slowly but surely!

April 2016 Empties

Korres Vanilla Guava Body Butter (reviewed here) - This vanilla guava scent was absolutely delicious!  I loved how hydrating this formula was, it didn't leave my skin feeling oily or greasy at all, and it absorbed into my skin right away.

Origins A Perfect World Creamy Body Cleanser With White Tea (reviewed here) - This was a nice body wash, but like I said in my review, I just don't think that it's worth the high price tag - $35 CAD! Origins isn't cruelty free, so I won't be buying from them going further.

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque (reviewed here) - This was a really lovely face mask - I'd recommend it to anyone that's stressed, or has dry, dehydrated skin!

April 2016 Empties

Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Night Cream (reviewed here) - I really, really loved this night cream! It had a lovely thick consistency that really helped to hydrate my skin without leaving it feeling greasy or oily. Plus, I love that it was 100% natural!

Bioderma Hydrabio Riche - This was a really nice moisturizer! I loved that while it was hydrating, it never felt greasy or oily, and I was able to use it morning and night.

Bioderma Atoderm Mains - This hand cream was fairly lightweight, but I just didn't love how it left my hands feeling. I can be a bit picky when it comes to hand creams, and this one just wasn't my favourite.

Avon Big & Multiplied Volume Mascara (reviewed here) - I really enjoyed this mascara as an everyday option, but I did find that it dried out fairly quickly. Towards the end of this tubes' life, my lashes started getting pretty clumpy.

blinc Black Mascara Amplified
(reviewed here) - I really did not like this mascara - I used it a few times so I could review it, but then I tossed it into my empties bag. I found the formula to be quite dry, and it didn't do much for my lashes.

Benefit Magic Ink Liquid Eyeliner (reviewed here) - This wand was great for drawing on a really thin line, but I did find it hard to create a winged tip with this wand. The formula is really wet at first, but it dries quickly and then sets for the entire day.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Cream #16 (reviewed here) - This was a beautiful shimmery pink cream shadow, but I've had it for a few years now and it dried up before I could use it up!

Schick Hydro Silk Refill - I normally use an electric razor to shave my legs, but occasionally I will switch things up and use a traditional razor. I really liked this one, it gave a really close shave!

April 2016 Empties

West Indies Soap Fragrance Free (reviewed here) - This was my first experience with this brand, but now I'm sold! This soap was incredibly creamy, and it lathered really well. I love that it's all natural and vegan too!

SpaRitual Close Your Eyes Sugar Scrub (reviewed here) - I absolutely loved the scent of this body scrub! I also really enjoyed using a sugar scrub, the texture was just fantastic!

THEFACESHOP Protect Me! Hand Cream in Lesser Panda (reviewed here) - I used this as a body lotion, and it worked really well for that purpose!

CeraVe Eye Repair Cream (reviewed here) - I absolutely loved this eye cream - it was creamy and hydrating without being too heavy! Also, this tube lasted be ages!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Lab Shine #D16 (reviewed here) - I really like these Lab Shines, they're creamy and not sticky at all. Sadly, MUFE isn't cruelty free (sells in China), so I'll have to find a suitable replacement!

Stila Lip Glaze in Seashell (reviewed here) - I wore this a lot with Giorgio Armani's Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick #505 Orchid, and that duo was fantastic! I do however think that these glosses from Stila are a bit expensive for the amount of product that you get (2.4ml), but the formula is nice and I enjoy the brush applicator!

SkinCeuticals Serum 10 AOX+ (reviewed here) - I really loved the way that this made my skin feel, but unfortunately the orange colouring of this liquid did stain my skin around my hairline! Not a good look...

Bath & Body Works Vanilla Icing PocketBac - I love these little hand sanitizers, and this scent was really yummy!

Mary Kay Into the Garden Soap - This soap had a really nice clean and fresh scent to it, and it had a really creamy formula that lathered well!

April 2016 Empties

Lush Golden Wonder Bath Bomb - This was from Lush's Christmas Collection, but I just recently got around to using it, and I absolutely loved it! Lush really know how to put together incredible holiday collections!

Pureology Smooth Perfection Shampoo & Conditioner (reviewed here) - I really loved this line from Pureology! This duo left my hair feeling super smooth, frizz free, and completely manageable, which is definitely a feat for my normally super tangly hair!

Kevin Murphy Born.Again.Masque (reviewed here) - This was a really hydrating masque, and I definitely loved it a lot more than the matching shampoo & conditioner in this line!

April 2016 Empties

Have you tried any of the products that I've used up over the past month? Hopefully May will be another great month for empties, as 2016 is the year that I'm really trying to use up what I have!
