"This concentrated lip treatment balm provides healing nourishment and instant relief to dry, chapped, or distressed lips. Drawing on the natural power of bees, this formula includes honey, a natural humectant that attracts and holds moisture in the skin; beeswax, a natural emollient that provides deep moisturization; and propolis extract, a honey protein that repairs damage and helps repair skin. Colloidal oatmeal, a hallmark ingredient in Ultra Repair, helps soothe skin. This rich, buttery balm has an incredible texture that blankets lips with long-lasting hydration to instantly relieve discomfort and dryness. This powerful lip balm provides instant relief and long-term protection to keep lips nourished, soft, and smooth." - Sephora
This lip balm is packaged quite simply, in a clear plastic tub. I definitely prefer lip balms in stick packaging, it's just a bit more sanitary and better for on the go application. However, I'm never against a lip balm in a pot, it just isn't my ideal packaging.
This lip balm has a faint green/medicinal scent to it that I'm not crazy about, but it's not a deal breaker either. This formula is very thick, but it applies easily, and it doesn't leave a glossy look to your lips, so men can love it too! My lips aren't currently in bad condition, but they do always require some degree of hydration. This lip balm's thick texture provides such great hydration, I think that would be great for anyone, even those with damaged and peeling lips. Plus, I find that I only have to reapply every few hours, even when I'm eating/drinking, which is really quite a feat for my lips! i can even apply this balm to my lips at night, and it's still on my lips when I wake up in the morning.
if you have damaged, dry, or peeling lips, then I'd definitely recommend checking out First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Intensive Lip Balm. FAB is a cruelty free brand, which I appreciate because it can be hard to find a good cruelty free lip balm. This balm does contain beeswax, so it isn't vegan.
What's your favourite cruelty free lip balm?
This is very true, the intensive lip repair really works perfectly. I have tried it myself and come up with excellent result. Truly it is amazing.
