Remington Smooth Glide Shaver

I've been using an electric razor since I started shaving, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone that's interested in getting away from disposable razors. I have used disposable razors from time to time, and while I love the close shave that they provide, I do find them wasteful and I tend to always cut myself with them! Lately I've been trying out Remington's Smooth Glide Shaver*, which is a hypoallergenic 4 blade razor.

You can use this razor on wet or dry skin, making this razor super convenient. There's an almond oil strip on the head of the razor, which is meant to be hydrating, but honestly I haven't noticed a difference with it, and I'm not sure how long it will last, as ideally you would be able to use this razor for years and years.

This razor takes 20 hours to fully recharge, which is quite a long time in my opinion. My other electric razor takes about 5 hours to fully charge, so you'll really have to pre-plan with this razor from Remington. Additionally, I don't find that this razor gives as close of a shave compared to other electric razors that I've tried, and I find myself having to go over the same areas a few times to get every last hair.

This might be a good option for those on a budget, or for your first electric razor. However, I was left wanting a bit more out of this razor. I wish it didn't take quite as long to fully charge, and that it gave me a closer shave on the first go.

Have you ever tried an electric razor? What's your preferred method of hair removal?
