First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser & Purifying Mask With Red Clay

I've been having a lot of fun exploring First Aid Beauty products over the past month, and my latest trial has been with First Aid Beauty's Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser & Purifying Mask With Red Clay*! These products contain red clay, which FAB claims helps to minimize pores, control oil, and mattify!

First Aid Beauty's Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser With Red Clay comes packaged in a tall & skinny red plastic tube. This cleanser has a thick gel-like consistency to it, and it foams up a bit when mixed with water. This formula works to remove excess oils, unclog pores, & purify the skin thanks to the inclusion of red clay, rosemary leaf oil, and botanical antioxidants.I think that this would be a great cleanser for anyone with oily or combination skin types.

First Aid Beauty's Skin Rescue Purifying Mask With Red Clay also has a thick gel-like consistency to it. Apply a thin layer to cleansed skin, and leave it on for about 20 minutes. This is a peel off mask, which aren't my favourite types of masks. This mask doesn't harden like a clay mask does, but my skin did still feel quite tight and dry after I peeled off this mask. This might be better suited to those with oily skin types, as it was maybe a bit too drying for my combination skin.

Have you tried out any of First Aid Beauty's skin care lines? I have to say that I much prefer their Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask, as it's better suited to my skin type.

What's your favourite type of face mask - clay, hydrating, peel-off?

  1. Love the colour of this mask, but anything that leaves my skin super parched afterwards is a no-no! :)
