May 2016 Empties

It's empties time again! May didn't yield a ton of empties, but I did still manage to go through a fair amount of products. As I mentioned previously, I will now only be reviewing cruelty free products, but you will still see some non-cruelty free brands in my empties, as I'm using them up.

May 2016 Empties

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask (reviewed here) - This small tube actually lasted me quite a while! I liked this mask, especially when my skin was freaking out.

Mary Kay Into the Garden Soap - This soap had a really nice clean and fresh scent to it, and it had a really creamy formula that lathered well!

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (reviewed here) - This large bottle lasted me almost a full year! I kept this cleanser in my shower, and I loved how gentle it was.

Live Clean Foaming Daily Cleanser - This was a nice cleanser, but foaming formulas aren't my favourite. I didn't love this packaging, as I had to use 3-4 pumps to get enough foam to wash my face.

Nivea Sensitive 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water (reviewed here) - This formula was very similar to Bioderma, so I really liked it!

L'Oréal Professionnel Vitamino Color A-OX Shampoo & Conditioner (reviewed here) - These bottles were fairly small, so it didn't take me too long to work through them. I liked the shampoo, but the conditioner was too thin for my thick hair.

Quo The Bold, The Curved, The Sultry Mascara - I wasn't a fan of this mascara, it didn't really do much at all for my lashes, despite the promising name.

Orchard & Vine Coconut Lime Luxury Bar Soap - This bar of soap was pretty massive, and I loved the beachy scent!

Ojon Rare Blend Moisture Therapy Hair Oil for Hair with Dry Ends (reviewed here) - I really loved this oil, but I didn't see much of a difference in this oil compared to the original Rare Blend oil from Ojon.

Fresh Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy
(reviewed here) - I really enjoyed this product, especially during the colder Winter months! I found that it really helped to hydrate and nourish my lips, and kept them from peeling.

Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm (reviewed here) - I absolutely adore this lip balm, but sadly Nuxe isn't cruelty free (they sell in China), so I won't be repurchasing in the future.

The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Scrub (reviewed here) - This is such an amazing Summery scent, and I already have my backup of this exact product in my shower!

Marcelle Lux Gloss Cream in Chiquita (reviewed here) - This was a great everyday pink gloss! The formula was super smooth and creamy, and the pink colour was somewhat sheer, so it paired well with a lot of different lipsticks.

Avon Super Extend Winged Out Mascara - This mascara was another flop - it just didn't do anything for my lashes!

Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara - Now this mascara was a winner! The tapered brush captured every last lash perfectly, and gave my lashes great volume.

Well there you have it, another month of empties! I'm already working on my June empties - what have you finished off lately?
