Look at that beautiful packaging! The gold and purple ombré effect is gorgeous, as is the rest of the packaging from the entire Rainforest of the Sea Collection. While the packaging is quite pretty, I do find the plastic tube to feel a bit cheap and flimsy. The Drench Lip Splash Lipstick has a slanted tip, which makes applications pretty easy. However, this formula is pretty pigmented, so you might want to use a lip brush for the best look.
I have a feeling that Firework will be my Canada Day lipstick this year! It's bold, beautiful, yet still quite wearable. I really enjoy rocking a red lip, especially for a night out. There's something about a red lip that just exudes confidence! This lipstick seems to be quite small, almost like a sample sized lipstick. I know most people don't go through lipsticks all that quickly, it's definitely something to keep in mind, especially considering the higher price point. This formula is really creamy and comfortable to wear, and I only need to touch up my lipstick every few hours. This formula isn't transfer proof, so do keep that in mind when eating, drinking, kissing, etc.
Have you checked out tarte's Rainforest of the Sea Collection yet? Do you also love rocking a red lip?
Beautiful! I like the packaging as well, like you said haha.
