SkinCeuticals Micro-Exfoliating Scrub (reviewed here) - This tube lasted me ages! The brand brought this American best seller to Canada back in 2014, and I've been using it ever since. I really like the gentle yet effecting exfoliation that this scrub gave, and I'm sad to see it leave my shower!
Lotus Aroma Cherry Blossom Hand Soap (reviewed here) - If you're looking for a more natural hand soap, then this is the brand for you. This soap is vegan, gluten-free, and GMO-free, made with 100% botanically-derived active ingredients!
Stila Magnificent Metals Lip Gloss in Kitten (reviewed here) - I liked this gloss because the sheer pinky nude colour paired well with a lot of my favourite lipsticks. However, the packaging seemed really cheap, and the gold detailing wore off within just a few weeks.
Benefit They're Real Mascara - This is one of the most popular mascaras out there! I do like the effect that this gives to my lashes, but it is such a pain to remove it. Plus, Benefit isn't cruelty free :(
Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter Beauty Bar with Warm Vanilla Scent (reviewed here) - This was a nice soap with a lovely scent, but I'm wanting to switch over to a more natural & cruelty free soap.
Mary Kay Into the Garden Foot Scrub - I really enjoyed using this product, as it gave a really nice exfoliation! Sadly, Mary Kay isn't cruelty free so I'll have to find a CF replacement.
Avon Sun+ Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF 40 - I found that this formula was a bit too heavy and thick for my liking, especially for a facial sunscreen.
The Body Shop White Musk Sport Hair & Body Wash - My husband mostly used this one up, but I thought that I'd include it in my empties because I absolutely loved the scent! If you're looking for a gift for your man, then I'd definitely recommend checking out this line.
Live Clean Vitamin Multi Boost Shampoo (reviewed here) - I loved that this shampoo was SLS free, and it still gave a great lather! If you're looking for a more natural hair care line, then definitely check out Live Clean.
Lush Thanks Dad Soap (reviewed here) - This was a part of Lush's Father's Day Collection, and while I was really excited about it, I sadly didn't end up loving this soap. The citrus scent was nice, but this soap didn't lather at all. I normally love Lush soaps, but this one was a flop.
And finally I have an unknown brand of soap that I picked up at an Asian supermarket. This soap had a wonderful jasmine scent to it, and it lathered really well.
So there you have it, all of my recent empties! As I'm switching over to cruelty free products only, you'll still see some non-CF brands in my empties posts as I'm using them up. If you have any great cruelty free alternatives to any of these products, please leave them in a comment below! :)
