Happy Friday friends! Today is a pretty exciting day, as I'm a bridesmaid in my sister-in-law's wedding! It's my first time being a bridesmaid, so wish me luck :)
Wedding talk aside, I have a really exciting skincare review to share with you! I've been loving Ole Henriksen's Pure Truth Melting Cleanser* ($42 CAD) as an alternative to regular make up removers and cotton balls. Keep reading to see why this has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine!
If you have trouble removing makeup, then you need to try out this product! To use, take a small amount of the gel in dry hands, and massage it all over your face. Then, add a bit of warm water to create a milky texture, and rinse off. Although the tub does say to avoid contact with eyes, I've had absolutely no problem using this to remove mascara and eyeliner.
This formula includes Vitamin C to brighten, rose hip oil, which is a natural source of Omega 3, 6, and 9, and virgin cherry oil, which reduces redness and hydrates. Since I use this product more as a make up remover, I do always wash my face afterwards with a separate cleanser, which helps to further cleanse my skin, and remove any residue from the melting cleanser.
If you're looking for a new makeup remover, then I'd highly recommend checking out Ole Henriksen's Pure Truth Melting Cleanser! This product has quickly worked it's way into my skincare routine, it's just so easy to use! Have you tried any melting cleansers or cleansing balms before? Do you prefer them to traditional makeup removers?
