First up is Sun Bum's Original Sunscreen Lotion, which I've been trying out in SPF 30 & SPF 50, which both offer broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, and are waterproof up to 80 minutes. Additionally, these products are paraben free, gluten free, cruelty free, and vegan. I instantly fell in love with the fragrance of all of Sun Bum's products, which can only be described as Summer in a bottle! The Sunscreen Lotions have a fairly thick and creamy texture, but they absorb quickly and don't leave your skin feeling greasy or sticky at all. If you want something a bit lighter, then there's the Sunscreen Spray, which I've been trying in SPF 15. This spray packaging doesn't use CFC's, so it's more environmentally friendly that way. This is a great option for anyone on the go, since the spray bottle makes applying sunscreen a breeze. You'll also want to protect your lips from the sun with Sun Bum's Lip Balm SPF 30, available in Coconut and Banana scents.
After a day or week in the sun, you'll want to reach for Sun Bum's Cool Down Moisturizing Lotion, which contains Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter. Even if your skin doesn't burn, I'd still definitely recommend using and after sun product to help moisturize and soothe your skin.
In addition to a wide range of sun care, Sun Bum also recently released their Beach Formula Hair Care line. The Beach Formula Shampoo works to cleanse out saltwater, chlorine, and environmental pollutants. This formula is safe for coloured hair, and offers UV protection to help prevent colour fade and damage. The Conditioner is hydrating without being heavy, and also includes UV protection. Sun Bum's Beach Formula Shine On is a lightweight oil that works to hydrate, restore, and strengthen your hair. And finally we have Sun Bum's Beach Formula Sea Spray, which adds extra body, volume, waves, and texture that mimic that effortless beachy look. I love that this sea spray doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy, as a lot of salt sprays tend to do.
