As you may know, my hair has been through a lot over the past year. Right now, I have bleached out hair with a dark purple shadow root and toned lilac ends. So, as you can imagine, sometimes my hair can feel a bit dry (although it's in surprisingly good condition considering all that I've done to it!). Dry shampoo is my ride or die, as I try to only wash my hair twice a week, but now I've found a place in my hair care routine for a dry conditioner! I've been trying out Pureology's Fresh Approach Dry Condition* on those days that my hair really needs a shot of moisture!
Pureology's Fresh Approach Dry Condition is not only cruelty free, but it's also vegan, which makes it an automatic winner in my books! Packaged in a purple bottle, this dry conditioner looks like a dry shampoo at first glance. Instead of spraying on your roots like you would a dry shampoo, focus this dry conditioner on your ends, which are usually the driest part of your hair. A light spritz on the ends of your hair is all you'll need, so this bottle should last quite a while.
This formula does include orange peel oil, so there's a wonderfully uplifting fragrance to it! The orange oil not only smells fantastic, but it also works to deeply condition and nourish your hair. This product is safe to use on coloured hair, and actually uses Pureology's AntiFade complex, which is a "mixture of antioxidants and minerals to extend the life of colour vibrancy".
I love this product because it helps my hair feel smooth, soft, and hydrated without looking greasy or oily. Well done Pureology! Have you heard of dry conditioners before? What are your favourite hair styling products for dry/damaged hair?
