March 2017 Empties

It's empties time again!! Yet again, I've managed to surprise myself with the amount of products that I've been able to use up in a single month. As you might know, I'm really trying to use up some of the older beauty products in my collection, and this past month I've done just that!

March 2017 Empties

MUFE HD Invisible Cover Foundation #117 - This was my holy grail foundation for years, but now I'm on the hunt for a cruelty free alternative. Right now I'm loving Too Faced Born This Way!

Live Clean Holly Berry Liquid Hand Soap - This was one of their limited edition holiday scents, and I'm so sad that I have to wait until Christmas 2017 to get another one!

Live Clean Nourishing Night Cream - This was a great drugstore night cream, and I think that it would be best suited for those with dry or very dry skin.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser - This was just a mini, and while I liked it, I wasn't blown away.

YSL Glossy Stain Rebel Nudes #108 Violine Out of Control- This gloss had been in my collection for about 3 years, so it was definitely time to use it up! I'm on a mission to use up all of my high end makeup that isn't cruelty free, and then turn my collection over to be 100% CF.

Philosophy 3-in-1 Shimmering Snowlace - These shower gels are massive, so this large bottle lasted all Winter long! This Shimmering Snowlace scent was great for Winter, but sadly Philosophy isn't cruelty free so I won't be repurchasing :'(
Bioderma Atoderm Lèvres - This wasn't my favourite lip balm, but I was determined to use it up instead of throwing it out! My main problem with this lip balm was that it felt like it just sat on top of my lips, and felt a bit slimy. It gets a definite pass from me!

Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask - This was an interesting face mask, as it feels super gritty. You leave it on your skin for 10 minutes, and then add some warm water and gently massage the product in. I love how this product gently exfoliated my skin and gave me a nice glow.

March 2017 Empties

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter - Is there anything better that TBS Body Butters to hydrate your dry skin during the Winter months? I don't think so! This green tea scent was nice, but I do have other faves from the brand (coconut, mango, etc.)

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Batiste is hands down my favourite dry shampoo, plus it's under $10 a bottle! I've tried so many different dry shampoo brands, including some pretty pricey formulas, but nothing beats Batiste.

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk - This is actually a body lotion that you apply in the shower! I found that this provided light hydration, so I could skip the body butter after showering if I was feeling lazy. However, I don't think that Nivea is cruelty free (correct me if I'm wrong!), so I won't be repurchasing.

Lush Snow Angel Luxury Bath Melt - It's been a few years since I've used one of Lush's bath melts, but now I want to use them all the day! It's no secret that Lush makes some incredible bath products, so it's not surprising that I loved this bath melt so much.

Teeez Bulletproof Flexibility Mascara in Dark Matter - This was a great mascara that didn't budge or smudge all day long! However, it didn't give a ton of volume or drama, so it wasn't a great option for a night out.

IT Cosmetics' Bye Bye Under Eye - I've been using this concealer literally everyday for about a year and a half. Seriously, this tube is huge! But I was very sad to see it finally hit the bucket, because this concealer is damn good! Highly recommend if you're looking for a full coverage concealer.

Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool - This was a really interesting product, as the tip has three points to it. However, I found it a bit gimmicky, and never ended up using it.

Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyeling Pen - I was absolutely not a fan of this liquid liner. I found the formula super watery and there wasn't great pigmentation.

March 2017 Empties

Have you tried any of the products that I used up over the past month? My favourites would be the It Cosmetics concealer, Batiste dry shampoo, and Live Clean hand soap!
